I've always looked back, fascinated by ancient worlds, by the dust that covers forgotten stories, and by an object's ability to span the centuries, carrying a soul with it.

For years, I've tried to approach these atmospheres through various avenues: I've explored the visual beauty of art, the narrative of theater, and the aesthetics of fashion. Yet, I felt something was missing, a piece that would make that connection with the past truly tangible.

For me, jewelry has never been a simple accessory, but the perfect way to express this deep love for the past, like a bridge, a fragment of history to wear.

Every piece I create is conceived as a find, something that looks like it just emerged from an archaeological dig.

I don't seek machine-made perfection, but the soul of the handmade. Using ancient techniques, I favor irregular textures and organic forms, as if each piece had been kissed by the earth and sea and preserved by time for millennia before returning to the light.

For me, creating means bringing classic and archaic beauty back to life, reinterpreting it with a modern, poetic and timeless aesthetic.

Vael was created to offer those who love ornaments not just a jewel, but a real connection between past and present.
